does anyone know the correct placement of the overdrive emblem on the tailgate of a 1954 Mercury wagon
I finally managed to find a ’54 wagon on youtube that had a decent shot of the tailgate area. The “MercOMatic” script (obviously not an overdrive car) was located just above the license plate bracket on the tailgate. Does that help much?
Thanks Virgil I saw the same picture, I can’t put it there because I cut the Mercury script out of a Merc valve cover and welded it there. Looks really cool. Fords had it in lower right corner, might have to go with that. Thank again
Hey Tom, since you are using a Ford 2 door body for your project I think locating the emblem in the Ford slot would be appropriate. Hope it is coming along well.
