    I need help locating a rebuild kit for the Carter 4bbl carb on my 1956 Mercury. It has the Merc-o-matic transmission. I cannot find the number tag or any identifying numbers. According to my maint manual, this Carter is unique to Mercs witn thw Merc-o-matic.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Have you tried the Carburetor Dr. ( I have had no experience with this company)?
